I've been having all sorts of problems with RB2006r2 IDE crashing in the last week or so. Usually it starts to compile (build or run), gets about 75% done and then just disappears. The crash reporter kicks in and then I wonder what went wrong.

My crash reporter looks like this:

Is this a plug in that's causing the grief or is it something else? Restarting sometimes helps, sometimes there is just no way to get it to compile. Even with a default project.

I've reinstalled 2006r2 and apart from a number of failed assertion errors lately which don't make any sense to me, it's been relatively fine up to now.

I've noticed once RB starts to die, other apps aren't too far behind (like mail, safari, etc).
