I saw a reference to an afore mentioned bug concerning rtfd files and
filtering in an earlier message but am not sure whether it affects my
problem. I can filter rtfd files fine right now but I cannot get the
files saved to accept the appropriate creator and app icon. I'm using
the standard procedures that work fine for rtf files using
SaveStyledEditField which gives me a file that when double-clicked
will open in my app. Doing the same thing using WordGuise and its
SaveWordGuise method however doesn't work. I always get a TextEdit
file. I know it must be doable because I can manually edit the "open
with" parameter in the file's (folder bundle) get-info window to
point to my app in which case it gets the correct icon and then opens
in my app. The response I get from the WordGuise mail list is that I
should do it the same as is documented for any other file. Anyone
have any experience doing this with folder bundles?
