This bug (still around from V5.5.5 days and before) is biting me hard:

Since so few folks have signed up, perhaps I'm missing something here.

If an exception occurs in an RBScript, shouldn't the RuntimeError event get called? It doesn't, and the app hard crashes, which is kind of annoying to users of my app.

I have posted a project here (my collection of test cases for RB2006*):

<http://www.ilanga.com/RB2006Bugs.rbp.zip>

Click the Execute button on the frontmost window and watch the fun as a simple OutOfBounds exception takes out the running app.

Does anyone know how to get RBScript to deal with uncaught exceptions?

Paul Rodman

* the other test cases have apparently been fixed for 2006r3
