A little while back there was some discussion about using Parallels on OS X to test Linux builds. At the time I was not able to access networking via SuSE Linux 10 running on Parallels at all, so remote debugging was definitely out and even moving built files to the Linux environment was a pain. For those that were in the same boat... if you haven't already worked out the procedure the following procedure (based upon a tip someone else posted) is working for me.

In OS X enable Internet Sharing on your primary Internet connection and allow the Parallels port (labeled en2 on my machine) to use the share.
In parallels use the HOST-ONLY NETWORKING, VIRTUAL NETWORK ADAPTER

HTH,
John J.
