Basically, if you have shared an RB project folder so that you can access the IDE files from another computer, editing and saving them in RB2006r2 damages the file sharing permissions so that other computers on your local network can no longer access them. You have to turn file sharing off/on for the folder in order to repair the permissions. I've noticed it because I keep my RB projects on my desktop PC in a shared folder. For my Mac work I just access the Windows shared folder. And for backup, I use briefcase on my Windows notebook to synchronize. This worked great with 5.5, but with 2006 I have to constantly reset the file sharing any time I want to work on my Mac or backup my files. If anyone else is annoyed by this, please vote. Thanks!
