I suppose, Shell.ReadAll() doesn't assume an encoding: It should
just read bytes.
But, according to a recent discussion and my own experience,
Shell.RealAll()
isn't transparant. Certain characters get converted. Since this
conversion
behaviour isn't documented, I won't like to guess, which chars get
read
transparently.

Encoding Master could help.

It's got a handy "little buttons" on the conversion settings window,
which lets you flick through all the encodings one by one.
It's possible it's not in any real encoding, if it's using chrb(8)...
