Hi Guys.

I have now learnt of the AutoDiscovery Class. This seems perfect for me. Just one problem. I am using the below code on a login button:

  AutoDiscovery1.Register("LANChatUDPGroup")
  AutoDiscovery1.UpdateMemberList

  Dim s(-1) as String
  Dim i as Integer
  s= AutoDiscovery1.GetMemberList
  For i=0 to Ubound(s)
    ListBox1.addrow s(i)
  Next

This is all from the LR. Now, when I login on two computers (running the same app - one OSX one Windows), they fail to see each other!?

Can you see anything wrong with that code? The port is set to 5077 - something I thought should be free!

I see no Online Language Reference in RB 2006 r2.

It's not really "online" as far as an internet connection but the one built-in to REALbasic under the Help menu in the IDE.

Referring to this as the "OLR" is just a convention that many of the list users have become accustomed to. It's simpler than saying, "The built-in Language Reference".
