Not sure exactly what you're after, Dominik, but if Mac OS X (Tiger
only, I think) will do, you could use an Applescript to have Image
Events.app save the raw file to some format that RB can open.
In my tests with Nikon RAW (NEF) the file saved by Image Events does
retain the camera metadata. You might then use something like Kanzu
Software's ImageInfo RB class ( http://www.kanzu.com ) to get the
metadata out of it.

Well, you could request someone to write a plugin.
I have ImageMagick in my plugins which can use dcraw which can read a
lot of RAW formats.
