I was talking yesterday about a color change (a blue that is displayed
as magenta). Early this afternoon, I take some minutes to check that and
discovered that a color &c0000FF is reported as &cEC00FF...
I take some minutes to go to AppleScript and asked 'bout the properties
of one of those blue words (I put one alone in the first line of a
TextEdit document):
return properties of Paragraph 1 of document 1 -- TextExit
and I get:
{size: 10.0, color:{0,0,65535},font:"Verdana", class: text}
it may be a clue: under AppleScript the color value atoms (Red, Green
and Blue) have a range between 0 thru 65535 instead of 0 thru 255 under
REALbasic.
Note also the size: '10.0'; it's a real man, a Real! instead of an
Integer in REALbasic...
HTH,
Emile
