You should write your own binding. Basically, you'll want to call a method to notify the other control in the CellClick event handler when the cell type is set to Checkbox.

How do you set up a custom binding to work with a
checkbox that exists inside of a listbox? Is this
possible?

I have a working example to detect when a click
happens in the listbox using the selectionChanged
event of the listSelectionNotificationReceiver
interface, however this does not work if one just
wants to detect clicks of a checkbox inside of a
listbox. Thanks!
