I have asked if there is some more than me that have this problem!
Why fill a bug report, if it NOT is an RB bug??? Could you answer
this??
It sounds like you can reproduce this issue with about one or two
lines of code and a single Window. If yes, then it is likely a
REALbasic bug or a bug with the Apple code that REALbasic calls --
either way, REAL Software would be interested in fixing it
(reproducible crashes are not good).
Just create a sample project with these one or two lines of code and
send it to REAL Software. I think that others here are just
surprised that a report has not been created since it seems to be so
straight forward of an issue.
Do you think the RB Testing department not have something to do??
It has been stated that REAL Software staff only read the lists on
their own time (volunteer)... so even though you have brought this
issue up to the list before, the Testing Staff at REAL Software may
not be aware of it. To make sure that they are aware of the problem
and to get time dedicated to researching the problem you need to
submit a report.
Besides, it is likely that the Testing department has *too* much to
do. Can you imagine how many possible combinations of things there
are for them to test? Calling the OS X Color Palette from a floating
window sounds pretty obscure for the average programmer, and is
unlikely to be attempted unless you need it in a project.
