Actually I just saw this reply ( from Aaron Ballman ) for the same question I posted initially to the RS web bulletin board:
"Most of the framework is still in C++, but as we write new functionality, it gets written in REALbasic (generally speaking). All of the IDE is in RB. All of the external projects are in RB (remote debugger stub, Lingua, etc)." I am assuming that by framework they mean Apple Frameworks or Windows DLLs but could be wrong. I am also guessing that much of this would be written as internal RB plugins.
