Howdy,
Very odd. Keep in mind that if f <> nil doesn't actually mean the document exists, just means, as I understand it, that f itself isn't malformed. To check for a document's existence use .exists, as in f.exists .

A If block check against Nil shows me that f is a valid FolderItem, the file is beside the saved project item,...
