did you try with the MBS colorpicker ?
it's pretty cool, because you can see the choosen color on your
control in realtime, when dragging over the colorwheel to choose

Yes I have tested.... , but only for some hours, and it looks to work
well.. And I see no reason why it not should work well... I am now
to the hope that Thomas Color Picker is working to and if RB is using
the Cocoa Color Picker..
(Thomas Color Picker is tested about 6 hours on Mac Intel, and no
crash yet...)
