Drawers are passé now. Even Apple's moving away from them now as
they were never cross platform. Hmm. :)

To do what you want you might check out Charles Yeoman's "I
Declare" and other Window manager functions from Apple's
documentation.
You just shouldn't have two drawers open at the same time. Not only
is it a horrible interface, it's not designed to work this way. Do
The Right Thing.
