Well, that apparently did the trick. Thanks Keith! I deleted a plist file in my Preferences and that seemed to cure REALbasic -- I am able to compile again! However, the bug happened again later, when I was compiling. This time I knew how to fix it (reboot and use Terminal to delete the "bad" semi-compiled application and delete the RB plist file) and things seem to be okay again -- but why is it happening in the first place???? The whole experience has made me rather nervous about using RB2006. I absolutely *hate* rebooting (I'm usually working five to ten projects at once in different apps and windows) and a bug that randomly appears and crashes my entire system and forces a reboot means I will only use RB2006 once in a blue moon. Any idea how to stop this from happening or why it occurs? -- Marc Zeedar Publisher REALbasic Developer Magazine http://www.rbdeveloper.com _______________________________________________ Unsubscribe or switch delivery mode: <http://www.realsoftware.com/support/listmanager/> Search the archives of this list here: <http://support.realsoftware.com/listarchives/lists.html>
