Ruslan may correct me but it's a standalone object.

You can probably guess by now that our developers are obsessed with
performance, so RBDB API isnt the best way to go in a highly caffeinated
developer atmosphere ;-) A lot of RB developers asked for RB DB API so its
an option.

It seems hard to believe but Valentina has been one of longest supporters of
REALbasic, and Id argue likely the most commercially successful plugin -
though I suspect a certain Monkey-oriented plugin has done well, too. The
first version of Valentina for REALbasic was introduced in 1999.
