I have been dealing with a problem for some time and can't find what is wrong.
I wrote a program that has the "splash" window as the default start-up window, which works fine on the Mac. However, when I compile the program for Windows XP for some unknown reason it starts with another window of the program, the "settings" window. I have thoroughly checked to see if during the app initialization I make a reference to any property of the "settings" window, and I do not. Another piece of information: this does not happen all the time. It seems to happen only when I quit the application without closing an open "settings" window. Does Windows XP keep track of the status of the program before it closes and then tries to open the windows that were left open previously? Any ideas?
