We were having significant issues with this:

Our specific issue ( controls inside a container control loosing
their position) was resolved with r3.
It appears that the report you mentioned is specific to
ContainerControls inside a ContainerControl
Do you have ContainerControls inside another ContainerControl or
other types of controls?
We have one control like this in our project and it is working ok so
far (cross fingers).
