I just retested in RB2006r3 and writing 100MB to a VV is 40 times slower than to a plain vanilla binary stream. This is a shame because VV's would make file I/O so much easier when saving complex data structures to disk. Anyone else have this gripe (at least 19 others did in the report) and would like this improved? Peter. -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Peter K.
