I just retested in RB2006r3 and writing 100MB to a VV is 40 times
slower than to a plain vanilla binary stream.

This is a shame because VV's would make file I/O so much easier when
saving complex data structures to disk.

Anyone else have this gripe (at least 19 others did in the report) and
would like this improved?
