Well, standard practice is to use the record feature to rough out a script, 
giving you the syntax for specific things (like changing the various build 
settings), and then to edit the resulting script heavily to massage it into 
something that's actually useful.

That's a good point -- I never thought of it that way, but I guess it would 
make a good example!
