Hi,
It works fine. But if I do this, I loose the focus of a cell, which I won't, if I have to look for some values in a big list. It's much better in this case, to hold this focus, so I'm able find my cell, which I want to edit, faster after scrolling for searching something in my list.

on cellkeydown and cell gotfocus I set:
tempscrollposition=me.ScrollPosition
(where tempscrollposition is an int)

Then in cellbackgroundpaint I do this:
 //fix for removing edit focus from a cell if user scrolls
 if tempscrollposition<>me.ScrollPosition then
   ClearFocus
 end if
