Now that the REAL SQL databases files can be encrypted (a fantastic

/Support folder, currently in the Server folder, be moved over to the
data directory?

Unfortunately, it isn't that simple. The path for the databases folder
is in the prefs, which are in the support folder :) So, kind of a
chicken-and-egg thing.

Hi WIll (I moved this over to the NUG)
I agree that the minimum server boot info (eg licensing data, location dbs) could be stored in current location but my important data (permissions, passwords, user groups etc) should be stored in a location that can be backed easily. That's why i proposed putting it over in the database directory.

I can handle a phone call were the panicing user wipes there reg code after an self installed upgrade y therei local IT guru, but it will be a nightmare if I have to recreate their permissions. I have a lot of them and my app allows the users to change them via the run-time.

Can the BACKUP mechanism also back up the /Support folder? That would solve my problem!
