I'd like to point out that the proposed solution is not to be
recommended from a security point of view;
' echo "root_password" ... blabla ... ' will result in the password
being piped through to 'sudo' in clear text, potentially making root
access available for malicious code lurking in the background.

echo "passwordHere" | sudo -S /usr/sbin/sysctl -w
