Has anyone seen this and have a work-around?
I have tried to return true in the keydown event of the EF if key

As a workaround you could just perform the default button's action
from the editfield's keydown event if key = chr(13). If the default
button is a standard pushbutton you could even use Pushbutton1.Push
to provide the right visual feedback.
Thanks for that suggestion, Joe.
That does, in fact, work to prevent the beep. I just feel that's more
work than I should have to do. Since RB provides the functionality of
the pushbutton.default = True, It seems I shouldn't have to ignore it
and work around it.
Anybody?
