This just doesn't seem to work. I've tried all kinds of mask and
image formats. The closest I can get results in patterns of dots in
areas that should be transparent (looks like some kind of
inappropriate dithering). Anyone got a magic formula workaround until
these bugs (ybdvufvd) are fixed, or we get support for transparent
PNGs as per yabpfxyr?
