New HTTP server allows users to serve REALbasic objects

Wethersfield, Connecticut, August 18th 2006 -- The ZAZ Studios is proud to announce the immediate availability of a new Open Source HTTP server for REALbasic. The additional classes integrate well with existing projects which did not plan on implementing an HTTP server in the beginning. The classes easily allow serving of both static files and native REALbasic objects. Support for advanced web features, such as sessions and cookies, come included and working right out-of-the-box.

The project was created with REALbasic 2006r3, but should be compatible with any release of REALbasic 2006. A professional license will be required, as the classes use the ServerSocket to function.

You may find more information about the HTTP server at <http:// www.thezaz.com/opensource/realbasic/server/http/>, as well as download the 81KB zip file.
