My Listbox is 10 columns wide. The file consists of 10 text fields
separated by tabs, with a c/r on the end. Over 13,000 lines.
I've tried this with a virgin listbox and also one that has been
partially filled, with the same results.
I'm using RB2006R1.

Don't use it. Problems have been reported in this thread in using it.
It seems to work on some Rb versions and not in others.
Remember, if the listbox is visible, it takes a lot more time to
redraw the contents of the list as the size of the list grows.
Disabling this may be the simplest way to speed up its loading.
