The If Then Else block wasn't huge at all. But you are correct for the
readability and that was why I wanted to use at first Select. When I
realize the time spent without result, I use a If Then Else block and
write the original question.
I must admit, however, that you *did* have a novel approach to the
problem.
this technique can be VERY useful and it's not my technique but one
that was posted ages ago by someone at REAL ... I forget who though
