To REALbasic User Network subscribers,

From: Giles Williams,

Title says it all - is there a way to set the Timezone? - like the function available in PHP for example.

If what you're wanting to do is set the systems' timezone, I'm afraid I can't help you with that one.

However, if you're working with Date objects, there is a Date.GMTOffset property available, which you can set and which will alter the values returned from the other properties accordingly. However, AFAIK, this property is only available with RealBASIC 2006 (I don't recall seeing it in 2005 or any previous version, and believe me, I was looking for it!).

Cheers, Nathan.
