Nice thing with Valentina for such CD/DVD based projects is that * Valentina have special Vpicture type that do JPG compression for pictures. So they become much smaller. * Valentina have Compression for BLOB/Text fields, so if you put some text in few Kb into TEXT field, it will again eat 5-7 times less of CD space. All together this allow you put on single CD/DVD much more information. Without this you may catch need produce and ship 3-7 CD/DVD, what is problem in fact because then db is not single. >> We have RB2006r2 pro on Win (not completed tested r3), >> the mySQL capture RB application has been working for >> almost three years. >> >> The database should be available for mac and win. -- Best regards, Ruslan Zasukhin VP Engineering and New Technology Paradigma Software, Inc Valentina - Joining Worlds of Information http://www.paradigmasoft.com [I feel the need: the need for speed] _______________________________________________ Unsubscribe or switch delivery mode: <http://www.realsoftware.com/support/listmanager/> Search the archives of this list here: <http://support.realsoftware.com/listarchives/lists.html>
