While drowning any living creature; Nuns, Priests, Kittens, Puppies, Wives, Husbands, Politicians, Bankers, Lawyers, Radicals, etc.; might seem to be a good thing to do at the time, it is usually frowned upon by most people.

I, on the other hand, simply prefer to drown my sorrows in a pint, now and then. It's really much less messy than the former and I usually feel much better in the morning. That is, unless the first pint leads to the second, third, fourth, etc. :)

The problem is, if you get too drunk you might not think drowning the <object of your hate> is such a bad idea... and then you wake up with two very different messy problems.

I guess it's all a matter of character. One doesn't have to be under the influence to be mean and vindictive. All it does is release the inhibitions you have. Some use religion to accomplish the same task to both ends; good or evil. But we are digressing and really getting OT. Too bad Jeff's list is offline right now.

Best to all,

Terry
