Not entirely true.
You need an ODBC driver and the ODBC plugin to access any database
that does not have a plugin that you can access via ODBC.
So, since there Is a PostgreSQL plugin, you would not need to use an
ODBC driver or plugin to access it from RB
Same for mySQL.
But if you want to get at an Access Database on OS X you would
require the Actual technologies ODBC driver
Or if you want to access MS SQL on OS X
On Windows you may already have those ODBC drivers so all you'd need
is the ODBC plugin in REALbasic
