f1 = GetOpenFolderItem("")
At this point f1 refers to a folderitem pointing at the app's folder.
f2 hasn't been changed, so it still refers to the original useless folderitem.
what do you think f2 points to after you do the GetOpenFolderItem?
Is that not actually what happens????
