Well, I haven't really checked out ElfData, but couldn't declares be
used to gain whatever speed is provided by ElfData?

ElfData is simply unbeatable.
I wouldn't think of starting this without ElfData, Utter lack of speed
would make it an excercise in futility. ElfData also allows for
simplicity of code.
Processing speed aside, just try to do wat I did with as few lines of
code. It's just not possible.
