i think this is not implemented in RB for mac os x. if it was, then
there would be a kill event. as i saw on serviceapplication, the stop
event is only for windows.

Should cause the process to gracefully rescan/reload all configuration
files, but without actually interrupting service.
I don't know how you'd program this in RB and how this would work
under Windows.
