For reasons unclear, Apple made a small but serious change in
QuickTime 7.1.3 -- all Flash playback through QuickTime is
disabled. There is now a checkbox in System Preferences/QuickTime/
Advanced to re-enable it.
This means that Flash playback under QuickTime (e.g. a MoviePlayer
control) will mysteriously break when you or your customer upgrades
to QuickTime 7.1.3.
Note that this does not affect Flash playback that goes through
WebKit/HTMLViewer -- for some reason Apple has left QuickTime stuck
at Flash version 6, whereas WebKit can play flash Version 8/9 with
the latest plugins...
