CROSS-PLATFORM STYLED-TEXT HELP SYSTEM AUTHORING APPLICATION RELEASED

The PandaWare Company is pleased to announce the release of Simple
Help Editor 1.0, a complete help authoring system for developers who
create applications with Real Software's REALbasic. Simple Help Editor
includes a complete editing application for creating styled text
pages, and a Help window project for easily incorporating the help
system into any REALbasic application. Simple Help Editor is available
in versions that run in Mac OS X or Microsoft Windows 2000, ME and XP.

Free trial version
Interested parties can download a free trial version of Simple Help
Editor from The PandaWare Company's Web site at
<http://www.pandaware.com/simple/>. The trial version gives users
complete access to all features for 30 days. Licenses which unlock the
application for unlimited use may be purchased for $25.00 per user. A
single license may be used for both the Macintosh and Windows version.

Power tools
Simple Help Editor offers a number of tools for creating
cross-platform help systems with consistent styling. These include a
glossary for storing frequently used terms, and a Quick Style feature
for applying text styles consistently. The application also offers a
batch font change feature to quickly convert a help system created for
one operating system to use fonts for a different operating system.
Other tools help authors easily repurpose their work.
