My code does not create REALbasic controls; it creates Carbon
controls directly. So you would create a Carbon StaticText control.
It's a fair amount of work to implement, as you saw, though a static
text would be simpler because you wouldn't need to do much more than
write the code needed to set various properties.

Hi Charles. I looked through your code, and to me, it was declare
soup. :) Is a text control the same thing as REALbasic's
statictext control? I guess I actually need to add four of them
with different font sizes. I tried looking at the reference on
Apple's developer web site but wasn't getting anywhere. I saw how
to add views but am not sure that is what I need.
