Yes! Mainly with those 100% rounded corners. I never saw an editfield control on Windows with 100% rounded corners... no even on the new Vista. Anyway, XP and Vista uses rounded corners for editifield controls but never at 100%. Here's some screenshots I found for Vista and using an editfield search control: http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/presskits/windowsvista/images/image 030.jpg http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/presskits/windowsvista/images/image 009.jpg http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/presskits/windowsvista/images/image 014.jpg BTW, the Windows RB IDE has the search control (top right) almost identical than the ones on vista: http://www.realsoftware.com/products/realbasic/tour/tour-win-7-menuedi tor.jpg > How does a Windows EditField behave when the control has the Focus > within the Window and there is text selected but the Window is > deactivated (in the background)? Does it display a gray > selection, or does it display no selection? No selection, but once the windows is activated the text becomes highlighted.
