Recently, System Update (OS X Tiger) updated iTunes for me. I go to open it and... Gaaaa! Where did the ugly, purple, matte scrollbar thumbs come from? Yech. Is this a feature of scroll bars now under Tiger (that you can change the color), or did Apple just pull a funny and hard-code a custom scrollbar (NSScroller) for this? If they were shiny, I wouldn't mind, but the matte look just doesn't jive with the rest of OS X's look and feel (Aqua). Just IMHO... :)

Apple released iTunes 7.0 a couple of weeks ago (when they announced downloadable movies). They couldn't think of too many new features so they decided to redo most of the UI... scrollbars included.

The scrollbars seem to be not completely finished. I use a custom style (both arrows at both ends, a style included with Mac OS X) and these scrollbars, in iTunes, no longer support this. Is Apple going to remove that great feature?

Also, the most disturbing change is the tab order (it was previously left list-search field-right list and is now left list-right list- search field)._______________________________________________
