When i'm at home I test on VPC Win2K... but XP's look is
sufficently different that i wonder if i shoudl not get XP and
install it on VPC with the thought that when i get my next Mac in a
couple of years (which will obviously be Intel) I could have it for
there ... (Vista would be out of the question until I get an Intel
Mac so it's not a concern right now in terms of purchasing XP)
I ONLY use Windows at home to test my RB apps and I don''t see that
ever changing unless Apple goes out of business!
Anway there is a $100 difference between XP home and XP
professional and looking at the blurbs on PC Connection I realy
don't see what the difference are and if they would matter to me!
Could someone please enlighten me?
The short answer is:
XP home then you cannot Remote Desktop onto it, and you cannot let it
join a Domain controller.
(Those are the most critical differences to me at least)
