Thanks Craig. That seems to have done the trick. I thought I had already deleted all the plist files for my app, but another cleansing fixed things. Now it's showing the correct beta version in the application menu.

Look in your Preferences folder - you will find a plist with the name of your project. Throw that away and recompile. The new info should show up. It takes the info from the plist and not the info in the IDE. Would make better sense if the plist was updated each compile but then I'm not sure why it's there in the first place. Each compile should take into consideration the current state of the project and not a previous list of parameters. Big bug, in my little mind.
