In 2006r3 under OSX (carbon PEF) FolderItem.Count is returning
the Ubound of the folder items.
So rather than intuitively looping from 0 to FolderItem.Count-1,
I have to loop from 0 to FolderItem.Count. Can anyone jog my
memory.. I can't recall if this is the correct behavior or not?
Hasn't it always been 1 to count ?
That's what the docs say, but through some odd behavior, item(0)
is returning a folderitem. (see charles' first reply to my
message, and his bug report)
I've seen that before as well and it seems to consistently be the
parent on all platforms so far
Not sure of OS 9 does this but it may not as a "directory listing"
there doesn't necessarily have the parent folder like OS X, Linux
and Windows doe in that spot
Well, I just tested and MacOS 9 also returns the parent folder using
Item(0). It has always been so, even with RB version 2 and Mac OS 9,
when Mac OS X was not available._______________________________________________
