Blanket statements about C being as clear as mud are equally pointless and
wrong. I also chose to opt for RB for my project of the last 3 years, partly
because it was a modern reference based language - ie unlike C,  but that
isnt to say that Rb cannot adopt some of the very useful aspects of C like
the increment stuff.

I used PowerBuilder for years, which combined the best aspects of Pascal,
java and C perfectly well and in a readable fashion.

One just has to be sensible about these issues.  Pick out the best aspects
from each and leave out the worst.
