1. REALbasic does windows specific Active X. There is little difference
there except Active X is legacy thing and .NET is not.
2. Apart from supporting embedding and talking to .NET items then my
humble guess here is that REALbasic will eventually simply have to add
support to compiling to .NET framework managed code (as compile option).
Similar to how they are adding Cocoa compile option. Why ? Because
almost every new that is getting added to Windows now days gets added
into the .NET framework while not to the Win32 API. .NET framework is to
Windows what Cocoa is to MacOS.
