Not sure to understand what you mean, but after this statement:
CREATE TABLE foo (uniqueID integer PRIMARY KEY AUTOINCREMENT, ...)
rowid is just an alias to the uniqueID column.
It still exists.

Which simply supports NOT using ROWID for the primary key :)
