Nope, when you press your finger down, that's a mousedown. When you release, it's a mouse up. Of course, this depends on the drivers and the screen. I just purchased a touchscreen last week for $618 from ELO - it supports all of this exactly like a normal mouse.

Really, if designing for a modern touchscreen, don't make any special consideration except for larger controls.

I suppose either way, if your program relies on MouseEnter or MouseExit events, you could be in trouble... Other than that, sounds like fun!
