I'm writing a a family of classes that extends bevelbuttons a good bit..
One of the things the base class does is allow them to behave like XP BevelButtons with Bevel = 3 but with a any bevel on either Mac OR Win...
By that I mean when the mouse is not over it the button contexts are drawn on the background without the button. (actually XP does not do that but draws background color the the contents - mine actually draws on contents the existing window background whatever it is)
Obviously I have to draw those contents myself and to do that I work out the algorithms used to place the icon and caption with all the different parameters for how they are to be places relative to each other...
Well I have found that there are significant differences between Mac and Windows.
On the mac Classic and OSX behave the same way, and Win2K and Xp are the same , but Mac and Win have different algorithms with the Mac ones being a bit more sophisticated...
As BevelButtons are not OS controls but custom RS ones, they should behave the same way Xplatform...
So I consider that a bug... but would others? Does anybody else care about it?
