Hey thanks Brad, that looks great.
Should this work 'out of the box' or will I need to add the
Windows COM object files to my project?
It should work out of the box. At least, I don't remember doing
anything special in my app, but it's been a while.
It sure does work out of the box - and created the new playlist ("new
playlist") with this code:
Dim iTunes as new OLEObject("iTunes.Application")
dim TheString as string
TheString="Currently listening to: "+EndOfLine
TheString=TheString+iTunes.CurrentTrack.Name+" by "
TheString=TheString+iTunes.CurrentTrack.Artist
iTunes.CreatePlaylist("new playlist")
StaticText1.text=TheString
Thank you so much for your reply - you have really helped me out with
this project.
Cheers
Jeff
